Went to CM this afternoon around 4pm. That letter is ZERO USE. Many people have came with it and it has no value. However, the front of service big man was asking everyone where they are from and if they had a letter from their embassy. If your embassy won't issue you one, go speak to the people at the desk, they might say it's possible anyway. I've been told to go back tomorrow (because I arrived after 3:30pm) with the forms that I filled in there and should get the 30 day extension with no letter from the embassy. Just explain a legitimate reason and they may bend the rules a bit for you and tell you exactly what you need to come back with to get it. They seem to be doing their best to help us out
