Hello guys, i am on my first ever Visa Exemption and want to extend it with 30 days. Is it at the same place at chian wattana as toursit visa extentions? Also my TM30 is from April this year, the one that i used to extend my first Tourist visa, is it going to work now too, since i am in the same condo or need recent one? Are there any additional documents needed?

TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend your Visa Exemption by 30 days, you should go to the immigration office at IT Square Laksi Plaza rather than the main office at Chaengwattana. A new TM30 is required, and you need to make sure it is filed since your most recent entry. While some users report not being asked for TM30 during their extensions, it is advisable to have it prepared along with other necessary documents.

Just FYI this year, i was not a asked for the tm30 when I extended either my tourist visa or a visa exemption

if they can see your tm30 on the system and it ticks all the right boxes, they won't need to ask where it is. If they dont see one or there is an anomoly, then they want a hard copy.

You need a new TM30 filed since your most recent entry.

You do not go to the main immigration office at Chaengwattana to get a 30 day extension on a 60 day visa exempt entry stamp ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

You go to the immigration office located at IT Square Laksi Plaza for that extension

You need a new TM30

This is a list of the documents that can be required for the extension

There are copy/photo shops next to that immigration office

Here is the location

If you do it in person in Bangkok, this post is still workable.

Or check the TM30 web system. There is a User's Guide link at the bottom of the login window.

you can only register online by yourself, if your landlord gives you the login-ID and the password. By this you wouldn't waste his time. Maybe he will agree
