45,000 is 0.03% of the population, how stupid do you feel now? Presumably you're ok with the doctors, nurses, train drivers, engineers etc etc that come over to save your skin, or do you refuse to be treated by someone who doesn't look like you? Principles and all that. Just think every time you go to a thai hospital and get treated, a thai has to wait behind you, do you ever see them belly aching how unfair the world is or is it just a western disease?
