Michael McKeown great to know this so even if certificate is issued in Thailand can apply from home country online? Secondly how do you renew this OA visa after one year?
James Adams my mother is 75+ bought the same AXA EasyCare OA insurance . Her premium is THB 35K per year (with THB 300K deductible), it is very good for her age with THB 4M cover. OA visa is the best way to enter Thailand with 1-year multiple entry without the need to block THB 800K with a local bank. We all travel once a year, and this is usually applied online. If extend this inside Thailand then need to block 800K THB in a bank.
My suggestion with OA compliant insurance designed for long stays. For 50 the premium sound very high. Should be about USD 220 a year for THB 4M coverage. This will help you obtaining OA visa online full year without depositing THB 800K inside Thai bank. I can share the link
Hi quick question if anyone can answer the non immigrant O visa for retirement also csn be obtained through online process without the need to visit embassy?
