I went to a dentist in Soi Lengke in Pattaya 8 years ago, wanting implants. He advised me against it because my gum wasn't sufficient and made me a 4 tooth porcelain bridge and a plastic full top plate. I appreciated his honest advice. I have since upgraded the plate and the bridge is still great. If I factor in the cost of the dental work, the flights from Oz and accomodation for 12 nights it is still all about

of the cost for the work Down Under and I got a holiday with my new smile.
I think a lot of the confusion is in the name. You can enter on a 90 day tourist visa or a 60 day visa exempt entry and then pay 1900 baht for a 30 day extension.
I am the only Farang in my village and I've been coming here for 6 years, up to 3 or 4 months at a time. I met the village headman about 4 years ago and never have I notified him of my arrival. He sees me around from time to time and always says sawasdee krab.
. It appears that I'm 5 years behind you and this is the reason that I've decided to delay my retirement for another year, possibly 2. I've been coming to Thailand as a FIFO worker for over 7 years, usually 4 weeks working in Oz and 12 nights Thailand... I've been here this time almost 4 months and I've had no income for 10 months. It's been a great time, but if I wish to continue this lifestyle then a slightly larger nest egg is required.
If you have a 60 day visa exempt entry, just do a border bounce for another 60 days. I have just done that and am here for 4 months also, on long service leave.
