lol did you not notice that you can't even buy deodorant in Thailand that doesn't have whitening cream in it? Did you not see that it is 40 degrees outside and people are driving motorbike in sweaters and pants and gloves on? Lol being dark or black is seen as poor and uneducated and not classy

I remember feeling the same when I first came to visit many years ago . I have lived here for a long time and I still love Thailand , it is my home now and my wife is Thai. Visiting for vacation and living here are very different. If you want to feel the same way about Thailand forever then you can come and visit every year but don't live here. It's difficult sometimes, I am not as bitter and jaded as a lot of the others in this group, because I actually learned the language and try to be as Thai as possible. Don't try to change Thailand, let Thailand change you .
