Thanks. Now I wish I planned a land bounce. I was under the impression that air bounce’s caused less scrutiny but you are saying they are more strict. Stupid me.

ok. Thanks for the info. This is my 4th time to Thailand and I’ve never been asked about hotel reservations. But it’s my first bounce so you are saying they always ask the bouncers?

book a fake hotel reservation for 45 days. That seems a bit excessive. What will happen if I’m denied entry. I’m a Canadian citizen. Will I be sent back to Malaysia or to Canada?and how will I arrange my travel sitting in a holding room in DMK airport?

I’m doing a border bounce to Penang next week. What if I’m staying at my gf house in BKK? Just show them a copy of her ID card and her address? I have the cash and the onward ticket.

Yes. Why did the approve her Thaipass for a “Sandbox” when the can clearly see she only had a one night hotel reservation in BKK. A complete farce. And zero support from Thailand as the Hotline is useless.

way too late. Flight leaves in a few hours. I’m not sure how she got sandbox when she applied for the test and go and she meets all the requirements.

Thanks. So our big problem now is if Qatar airlines won’t let her on the flight today because she only has a one night hotel reservation. And the Thaipass is linked so she can’t make a new reservation. Any solutions?

Ok. Thanks. Much confusion as when we called the airline (Qatar) they said PCR is acceptable as did her travel agent based in Thailand.
