, nope, didn’t work for me either. The branch call head office and were told that all Visa debit cards had been destroyed. They now only issue UnionPay.

I found UnionPay to be pretty useless anywhere for purchases except some supermarkets and BKK ATMs. I’m currently in UK and found that I can actually withdraw cash at the Barclays Bank ATMs so life is improving! Next stop USA for a test! 🙂

1. Your visa is not dependent on a rental agreement. You are free to move around at will.

2. It is for the individual landlords to conform to the TM30 requirements in their area. You do not need to ensure that it has been done unless you get another lease. Then my advice is to make sure the landlord does it and gives you the receipt. If he doesn’t then go to immigration yourself and do it on his behalf.

As Robert said, if you need to go the immigration for something else that needs to show where you live, then it would be prudent to ensure that the TM30 has been done.

, it’s not obvious where it is as you don’t see it when you go through the security. We didn’t see it until we mentioned it to the immigration guy who pointed us in the right direction! Our first time and I’m sure there will be a LOT of people who experience it for the first time! 🙂

No idea how that happened and didn’t know until your comments!

Just been to the airport IM building 3 which was reported on another group to be the place. Building 3 is investigation dept. only. The only place to get entry permits are Promenada or air-side at the airport.

I think this building is outside security. I’ll find out later and let you know.
