They told me last time I renewed my car license that I only get 2 years because only on tourist visa, 5 years only with minimum 1 year visa.

60 days visa exempt, ticket out within 60 days

Yes i have done with a evisa (60 days ) and a ticket home after 88 days. Both airline and immigration in bkk checked 👍

I have good contact with my local immigration I just need to know what the rules are before my next trip , is the 1 extension/ year only for exempt or includes it a regular 60 days tourist visa. Seems like many people think this is the same thing because both are 60 days………

Can I make 1 extension on 60days exempt and 1 on 60days tourist visa?

So with a 60 day tourist visa it should not count? When I go back in February can I go on 60 days exempt and extend it 30 days without problem? Not easy to find out this stuff……

I usually go like feb,mar,Apr and then stay Europe for the summer then back again oct,nov,dec.

This year (2025) I did same but the rule about the only 1 extension came before I managed to get to immigration.

My first stay was on 60 days exempt and the second on 60days tourist visa. Just want to be prepared for the next Tripp……..

With a 60 days tourist visa you are ok if you have a return within 90 days, that’s what they have told me and both airline and immigration have been ok with it so far
