Immigration saw it and under my 30day entry stamp they wrote a small note that i didn't want to use it for entry this time.

Sounds like i got lucky in the sense.

I was only meant to be here a short amount of time and didnt want to waste the visa, so i asked to be stamped in on visa exempt 30 days, which they did for me.

The documents explain ALL the different visas available.

For a SETV I supplied my ticket into Thailand and exiting Thailand in 90 days from arrival including payment receipt, ensuring your name is in the receipt.

Hotel/ accommodation booking for my duration.

Bank statement printed online with my name and that on it from the last month showing the required amount.

Consulate is located down a small side street and is easy to miss but just look out for the Thai flag.

Gate was closed so I gave it a little shake and a very friendly man will come out and let you in.

Same goes for collection.

Visa has all details hand written in.
