TLDR : Answer Summary
Current requirements for unvaccinated travelers flying domestically within Thailand, specifically between Phuket and Chiang Mai, include obtaining an ATK test within seven days of the flight. There may be specific exceptions for areas like Phuket and Samui, where the test may need to be done 72 hours prior. It's advised to check for the most up-to-date regulations before travel.

ATK test within seven days of flight, except possibly Phuket and Samui which I believe is 72 hours

No test or vaccine passport required for Don Meuang to Ubon. Just a temp check on arrival at Ubon.

Steve Greir. I think it's more the tourist areas - CM, Phuket, Samui, Krabi etc that are asking.

Tom Richardson. AirAsia might be more strict than the others. The parent company has a "vaxxed only" policy.
