Any immigration office will stamp your new passport stating that that your visa and passport has been changed over.. I did that 4 days ago...

Can I apply for a TR60 visa in Hanoi without an appointment like in Ho Chi Minh City?

definitely no walks in.. you will be stopped at the gate.. security will ask to see your appointment.. No Appointment No Access... (even to talk with them) Hence why I went to Hanoi.. walk in service. As I was missing a document and had to make another appointment...
