What do you use for an address for the driver license..

I assume you need some proof of some kind of permanent address?

I assume you are a tourist and not living in Thailand on a long term visa?

If you are visiting Thailand as a tourist then you cannot get a Thailand driver license..

To legally drive or ride a motorcycle or scooter in Thailand first you must have a motorcycle license from your home country..

You then need to get an international driving permit from your home country that will show you have a motorcycle license/endorsement..

The international driving permit is just a translation of your home country license and allows you to legally drive or ride the class of vehicles as you can in your home country.

That is the ONLY way to legally ride in Thailand as a tourist.

You should get your Non O from your home country Thailand embassy before travel and then you won't have any problems..

Spain is listed as one of the countries that get free 60 days visa exemption entry to Thailand.

This can be extended by 30 days at any Thailand immigration office prior to the original 60 expiring...

So if you plan to travel to Thailand for less than 90 days you don't need to apply for any visa before entry.

What is your passport country?

That will determine your entry and visa requirements

Don't underestimate how much its going to cost to live comfortably in Thailand..

Yes, I am certain its cheaper than Canada and most developed western countries but you may be surprised how quickly you can burn money especially if you are living in a very popular tourist location paying tourist/Forienger premiums on everything..

Just manage your budget expectations very carefully would be my advice..

Good luck 👍

Phuket is one of the most expensive places in Thailand for foreigners (Tourists and Expats) and so are most of southern islands like Koh Samui..

If you are thinking of living on a budget then Phuket or anywhere in the south is a very poor choice..

Mainland beach locations are generally cheaper than places like Phuket or Koh Samui etc..

You may want to consider Hua Hin as an option as it very popular with retired Expats and foreigners staying long term and has excellent amenities and infrastructure and only 3 to 4 hours from Bangkok and a nice beach location..

You can get to Hua Hin by Bus, Train or even taxi from Bangkok.

Lots of long term accommodation options available in all price ranges.

Or if you want something quieter and more laid back then perhaps Cha Am just a little North of Hua Hin or maybe Prachuap khiri khan which is south of Hua Hin..

If you are planning on long term living in Thailand then you really need to do some research and visit a few places to be certain they are right for you.
