I have traveled to Thailand several times, the first was for work, the rest because I like the country and its food. I plan to go there again but because of my age, I wonder if they will give me at least a 3-month visa.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about obtaining a 3-month visa to Thailand, expressing concern due to their age. Comments clarify that a NON-O visa is available for those over 50, allowing for a 90-day stay. Alternatives include visa-exempt entry for 60 days, with a possible 30-day extension. Some responses seek information about the user's nationality to determine specific requirements, while others confirm the possibility of obtaining a 90-day visa before travel.

OK, I understand I can have a 60-day visa and be extended to 90. Is it possible to extend it to 180 days?

Spain is listed as one of the countries that get free 60 days visa exemption entry to Thailand.

This can be extended by 30 days at any Thailand immigration office prior to the original 60 expiring...

So if you plan to travel to Thailand for less than 90 days you don't need to apply for any visa before entry.

Because of your age (over 50 I guess) you can purchase a Non-O Visa which gives you a 90 day stamp on entry to Thailand and no need to visit Immigration while you are there

They won't "give" you anything.

You can apply for a 90-day non-O visa if you qualify.

If you are from a visa exempt country, you can qualify for visa exempt entry which is a 60 day permission to stay stamp, and not a visa. This is meant as a short-term tourist entry. You can apply one time for a 30-day extension. If that meets your needs then you should be fine. If you need more time then you might need to look into other options.

Then you'll receive 60 days at the airport. Do not go to "visa on arrival" window. Just go directly to passport control. Make sure you fill out a TDAC online within 3 days of your trip.

If you need the additional 30 days, you'll need to apply for the 30-day extension from immigration. In Bangkok that will be at the IT Square Laksi office if you arrive without a visa.

if eligible can enter with no visa for 60 days, or apply for a visa through an embassy before arriving.

I wouldn't worry
