Thailand ‘visa on arrival’ is 60 days currently for many countries

Check your country, on the list of ‘visa on arrival’

It means you do not have a visa.

You do the TDAC arrival card before arriving.

Then at immigration passport control, they will stamp your passport for 60days.

If whilst in Thailand you wish to stay longer than 60days, it can be possible to extend it for additional 30 days at the appropriate local immigration office.

P.a?

p.a means per annum - which means per year.

Surely you mean per month?

Koscielny Thierry I guessed so. It definitely didn’t make sense 😂

Theres only 1 way to guarantee you’ll have no issue, and you already know what that is, FB is not the best place to ask, the embassy or call an airport.

FB answers are advice always ranging from accurate to damn crazy 😂

Koscielny Thierry whatever you do- you’re taking a risk.

The only clear way without risk is to contact embassy, probable advice will be they can cancel current visa, and issue a new visa.

In the long term, its the best thing to do.

Koscielny Thierry your post says, you have a new passport

Then at end asks if you need to re-apply for a new passport!

Makes no sense.

Maybe you mean re-apply for new visa!

Your post doesn’t make any sense.

If you have a new passport- your old passport will be cancelled and invalid.

If you try to use an invalid passport, it could land you in trouble

well. Yes. And yes. The very limited original post doesn’t give too much info what he’s actually asking.

I think he’s asking for ‘what visa he can get, to allow him to stay in Thailand, non-stop, for 6months.

I believe the answer would be DTV
