Hey mate, I retired here in November 2022, on the Australian pension, applied for and got the Non O retirement Visa, did it all myself, I live in Phuket and feel I have found a way to acclimatise that certainly suits me, pm me and I will video call you and fill you in on any pitfalls you might not have answers for.🙏😊

they have not told him they would not check it through, he is assuming this because he has 2 separately bought tickets, but they are with the same airline so they will check his luggage through to Bangkok as long as he alerts them to his ongoing flight.

Yeah, don't panic it's with the same airline so just produce the 2nd ticket when booking in at Brisbane and they will check your luggage through to Bangkok 😊

you are spot on , I have flown Aus to Phuket about 25 times ,was never asked until last March by Airasia at Sydney Airport, probably the first time she has asked because I had to point out to her that I live in Phuket and my Visa stamp , a Non O retirement Visa was valid until February 2025, I had just renewed it before I travelled to Australia 😊

Just have a chat with the moderators on here, I used Tod Daniels, he was amazing, did it all myself for free, but if I ever meet Tod, it will be an expensive round of drinks, he saved me heap$
