works well directly through the banking system with no fees. Anyone with a Thai bank account can easily give money to each other.

yes once cash was a problem but they managed to get change from someone else. Correct money would have been ok. Once you start using QR codes you don't want to stop, too easy

my wife's already on the aged pension $862 a fortnight. She lost $70 of that after 6 weeks in Thailand.

I was making my own bread but next time I will bring some whole meal flour with me. Can buy in Makro but it's not quite milled the same but it does work. Topps sell small bags of flour from Australia but it's expensive. Must be able to buy 10kg bags at a reasonable price.
