I’m currently living in Dubai , freelance social media transitioning to a remote setup looking to apply for the DTV.

I watched a YouTube video detailing the process of application, my main concern is proving where I’m going to stay in Thailand and flight reservations.

Basically I want to apply now but I don’t intend on locking down accommodation until it gets approved,

How did you approach this?

A little bit confused on this.

Also did you have to show proof of a return ticket reservation or just one way?

Travelling from Australia to Thailand.

I'm aware I need to show proof of return flight but what's the best way if I decide I want to stay for an extra 30 days?

Do I book flights for the 60 days?

All my previous trips have been less than 30 days.

When applying for a tourist visa for Thailand in Laos, they ask proof of when you're going to leave Thailand after 60 days.

I book a flight out of Thailand and end up not using it.

I heard you can "rent" a flight ticket to save money.

Any info about that?

Hi, Im struggline with all the required documents in order to get a visa. I would like to apply for the STV can you guys help me out?

I am from the Netherlands, might be relevant for below questions.

1. An English Extract from the register of population (where do I get this)

1. A Certificate of Good Conduct (where do I get this?)

1. A medical certificate (Does this needs to be filled out by the doctor?)

1. Proof of payment (paid in full) for the accommodation in Thailand for the whole period of intended stay (Do I really need to pre-book my entire trip? I do not want to plan that much..)

1. Confirmed roundtrip flight reservation or ticket ( I only have a one way trip, planning for a 4 month trip and I am hoping that other countries are opening their borders soon)

Do i need to buy the flight ticket first then the visa ?

Tourist Visa in Penang Malaysia

Dropped passport yesterday morning at 9am and pick up today at 2pm.It cost 150 RM.

They ask 2 photos ,psp copy ,flight reservation ,hotel booking for minimum 7 days (needs to have your name on it ) ,I also gave a bank statement.

I think I understand that if I arrive from US in Thailand on a 30 days visa exemption stamp I must show a copy of my flight reservation showing a departure within 30 days of my arrival. My question is - if I get a METV (and have the intention of doing border bounces every 60 days) what date (if any) does my return flight ticket/reservation need to show. Should i get and airline ticket I can change and reserve a departure flight within the first 60 days period of stay? Or can i go ahead and make the departure flight in 6 months when i actually anticipate leaving?

Funny question, I wanna make just a flight reservation between singapore and thailand for visa issues without a fee but somehow I couldn't manage it.. -.- could you share me a link or any advice? I searched carefully but I seriously can not find it :'(
