Having lived in Thailand for many years I would recommend the following .

1. Come to Thailand

2. Get an agent through recommendation .

3. Don’t give money to her

4. Accept that buying a house with her, you are effectively handing over your money to her .

yes .. check on requirements . I had to send my marriage cert to the uk to get stamped before processing a visa in Bangkok

Get your uk marriage certificate certified in the UK before you leave .. the Uk consulate in Bangkok don’t help on such matters
