 if you flight is EKxxx Dubai - Bangkok you boarded that flight in UAE, not UK. Not a rocket science

 wrong. You need to write country from where your flight to Thailand departed, so last one.

If flight was London - Doha - Bangkok you need to select Qatar and write flight number from Doha to Bangkok.

 no it doesn’t. Currently all countries that are visa exempt get 60 days stamp
