sorry what I meant was. You can have the marriage visa and also get a work permit. DTV you would need to cancel first I believe and get onto another visa type first before being allowed a work permit.

So yes if you were starting a business say. The amount of Thai employees required for that person reduces if you are married. Bearing in mind there is a monthly cost to have employess. Especially if those employees are not really working and just to hit the requirements. 👍🏻

not the only reason. Can work towards a work permit. Also if married you have to have less Thai employees per foreigner working.
