No, they did not. Because I had colon cancer two years ago and since it tends to spread to either the liver or lungs, they were focused on cancer recurrence as the most likely option and didn't want to test for anything else
Unfortunately, the lung nodules showed up in both lungs on a CT calcium score at Pattaya Bangkok Hospital after only being in Thailand for two months and then a couple of months later on at PET\CT scan at Bangkok hospital through an oncologist at Samitivej Sukhumvit. They did not mention other potential causes like PM2.5 or sarcoidosis or tuberculosis and didn't want to test for those. I was wondering if many expats have lung nodules show up on scans.
Yes, if you have an account with Bangkok Bank, go to your branch and request access to use Western Union through Bangkok Bank mobile app. As a backup, you can also go to Central shopping center and sign up Western Union there. You will need to be able to have SMS sent to your phone to use Central's Western Union account.
Go to a different bank ATM for another $20k or $30k. At 7-Eleven there are often two different bank atms. My Retirement visa, one year extension, and opening of Bangkok bank was a little over $30 and I had to do this.
