It would be much easier for you to get a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa. It allows tourists to enter Thailand multiple times within a 6-month period, primarily for tourism, leisure, or medical visits. Each entry allows a stay of up to 60 days, with the option to extend the stay for an additional 30 days at an immigration office in Thailand. So after 90 days you could leave Thailand to a neighbouring country for a day, then you would get stamped in for another 60+30 days, which covers your 5 months.

I you want reliable service and a wide range of choices you should get a paid service.

Don’t buy Firestick too many limitations from Amazon. Get Mii Stick or Box from Xiaomi, basically the same as a Firestick but you have full Google Play store access. Then get iptv service of your choice.

Thank you for your reply. Do you have any experience regarding the TM30 policy at the immigration office in Jomtien/Pattaya? In the past I did not file a new TM30 with them after I did occasional short trips to Cambodia or Vietnam and never had a problem so far. But was always unsure of the actual rule. Thanks again.

I went through the O-A evisa application successfully about 3 weeks ago (Embassy in Hungary) and although the e-visa system did not ask for my flight ticket only for the date, two days after submission I got an e-mail asking for my ticket as “further document”.

Exactly how I see it. I think I will just take my chances with 10 working days, as I know my docs are complete and solid. In case the visa does come late, do you think it is possible that I take my flight anyway, enter visa excempt and once the visa arrives I do a run to “activate” it? Thank you!

Brandon Thurkettle I am using the embassy in Budapest/Hungary. On the phone I was told 15 working days for O-A but TR visas rarely take longer then 4-5 days there. Also I got my last O-A from them, before the online system was introduced, in 5 days. Date of issue is important for me because I will want to use this visa also next year, just before it will expire, to max it out for 2 years. Thank you.

Actually I am planning to apply for an O-A visa and not looking for a way around the system but rather for a solution for my special individual situation. But thank you for your answer anyway.
