- if you apply for the tourist visa 60 day +30 day extension via e-visa. Do you receive a letter with a 90 day stay or do you just get 60 days stay initially then have to go immigration in Thailand to get the 30 days extension added

I think you may need to contact the office to get permit prior to travel which when you return your visa is unaffected

Is it acceptable to have a return flight ticket 88 days after arriving in Thailand on a TR visa?

normally if your TR visa is for 60 days your return flight should be within 60 days. Once your in Thailand you can extend your visa and change return flight to suit. In uk they are not offering TR only STV which allows you to stay upto 90 days
