There's not much cash left in the Banks now everyone is buying Baht Gold, with your 400,000 you will get 5 Baht Gold, 800,000 10 Baht Gold and get a better return than bank interest tax free profit. Sell your gold 2 months before your visa is due , get your visa wait 90 days then buy Gold again.
