- admirable. Unfortunately some do not have the confidence or aptitude or may have age or health issues that make this challenging. Additionally I've just used an agent to renew my passport simply because it's cheaper then making two trips to BKK from Isaan. I've been here 20 years.

- one more question Tod - I currently live and work in Chonburi and when I retire I will move to my home in Buriram. Which immigration office should I apply for the new extension based on being over 50?

It would be more convenient to do on Chonburi, so could I 'transfer' to Buriram at a later date?
