get a life pal, I wasn't guessing at anything, both daughter and husband caught dengue and were seriously ill in hospital, whilst there there was another foreign patient who was refusing to pay etc etc, and the police were called and also threatened to take his passport.

so I have seen first hand of what could happen.

The police will definitely be involved should you even attempt to leave without securing payment with hospital. Either pay yourself and claim back from the insurance or speak with the insurance and pass over the phone to the staff.

why racism? This has nothing to do with Health Insurance, as anyone from the UK going overseas would be required to have travel insurance for obvious reasons then overseas travellers to the uk should have travel insurance,...

Yes she will need travel insurance, if she needs treatment and dosn't have it she will have to pay.

This is on the government website...
