no thanks, we've paid £1500 tops before now for flights and seats, now being quoted well over £2700 on all flights, looked on skyscanner, netflights and most airlines, all still over inflated prices....

We will definitely be back someday but not at the prices being quoted by Airlines from the UK right now, when they get back to some sort of normal price we will be there like a shot...

So we stay put for the rest of our lives now ? Covid is going no where fast..

every symptom for a cold or flu is now added to the list of someone potentially having covid.

If your really ill don't go out as you wouldn't have before, but people still went out and about with a cold etc...you only have to sneeze now and people look at you as though your wrong to be wondering the streets.

Life goes on, deal with it, people have to work to earn money to survive and without tourism back it's never going to happen.

What will help tourism go back to Thailand is scrap testing altogether...

We've never had an issue with our drivers with Hua Hin cars...always polite, always excellent service...

we've been using Hua Hin cabs for many years paid same if not more. Brilliant service.

We have always used Hua Hin taxis, had a car to ourselves, paid anything from 1500thb to 2400thb, dependant on which car you choose on booking. Excellent service, we would always recommend them.

But depends on your budget...

We have many years ago also used the bus from bkk to Hua hin, long and laborious but comfortable.

I cant answer about the test and go as we haven't and won't be back until testing etc is done with.

However what I will say, we have stayed at AT Residence many times over the years before they're renovations and absolutely loved it, the staff and accommodation was fabulous... you won't be disappointed in staying there.

We have stayed at the Hikton many times and is fabulous, you can't beat it... you can have a beach/Seaview apartment, fantastic pool, staff and beach within a hop skip and a jump..
