Is it possible to take a bus from Bangkok to Hua Hin on the weekend? And if so what is the name of the station and where to catch it?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can take a bus from Bangkok to Hua Hin on the weekend. The main bus stations where you can catch a bus are the Sai Tai Mai (Southern bus station) and Ekkamai bus station. There are various bus services available, including standard buses and minibuses. It is also possible to take a taxi or a private car for a more comfortable and faster journey, although this will be more expensive. Make sure to check the schedule ahead of time, especially on weekends.

Hello π can I find a bus or van in border gate to go Bangkok from Cambodia
There is a bus service, not minivan from Savunarbum airport to Huahin airport. If I remember correctly it's about 400 Baht (It could be less).
It's not fast but it is very comfy. Of course going to Savunarbumi may be out of your way. I used to land there or take the airport link to it, then the bus.
Amendment: 255 Baht as Rob mentions below, seems more correct
Bells bus service, leaves the airport from the gate 8, first stop Cha-am the Hua Hin, just near the airport, great service, but the air con is very cold 255 baht one way per person.

We have always used Hua Hin taxis, had a car to ourselves, paid anything from 1500thb to 2400thb, dependant on which car you choose on booking. Excellent service, we would always recommend them.
But depends on your budget...
We have many years ago also used the bus from bkk to Hua hin, long and laborious but comfortable.
