The conversation primarily revolves around the current COVID-19 testing and quarantine requirements for tourists in Thailand. Many commenters discuss their experiences with express testing services offered by various hotels, the changing quarantine durations if a tourist tests positive, and the overall perception of the testing process. There is a suggestion to simplify or abolish testing to encourage more tourism, with one person expressing frustration about the complexities involved in visiting Thailand compared to alternatives like Cambodia.

Klar, m it entsprechend überhöhten Preisen. Die ganze Test & Go Geschichte ist ein einziger Rip-off durch die Thai Regierung.

I wanted to go to Thailand but there is too much involved. Going to go to Cambodia instead.
lol. Really? Because I think people can test before flights to avoid getting off plane and test positive on arrival? Its the travellers choice now if they test pre flight, so we will all do what we think is best for ourselves.
so have infected people go out and about because. . making people sick is ok? Not sure that's a good idea right now, but ideally it should be test before flight. Not on arrival.

So we stay put for the rest of our lives now ? Covid is going no where fast..
every symptom for a cold or flu is now added to the list of someone potentially having covid.
If your really ill don't go out as you wouldn't have before, but people still went out and about with a cold etc...you only have to sneeze now and people look at you as though your wrong to be wondering the streets.
Life goes on, deal with it, people have to work to earn money to survive and without tourism back it's never going to happen.
your comment makes no sense, you said test before you fly which they already had and you can still catch it after the test. It's reached the point of being endemic same as flu , do you suggest they test for flu also and stop travel if positive
this is about testing if you are positive for the SARS co-2/ Covid19 and whether testing after flying is preferrable to testing prior to flying. I'd prefer testing prior to flight. But as people now want to fly even if infected, testing would only help those who'd rather know before and not travel just to get taken in to quarantine.

Thank you for sharing.
Yes we have almost 20 hotels offering express testing services.
Our platform is currently the only platform you can book these services through without needing to connect with the hotels first.
