In Myanmar (Yangon), If you don't get the DTV visa, you don't need to pay USD 400.

On the first day, they check doc and interview the candidate at 2:00PM if needed they will request the additional doc.

if you have the complete doc, you pay USD 400, and next 2days you pick up your passport at the embassy.
