Ok. But why change if you were happy with Wise? It's not life changing money what you can save. You can transfer maximum of 2m Baht so how much can you save? $100? Not worth it. Stick to what you're used to and happy with

Yes I looked at XE. They're exchange rate is lower than wise so you'll end up transferring less money than what would with WISE

So you transfer AUD to your wise account with no fee and then from your wise account to your Thai bank account in Baht? Or do you have a Baht account on wise and then transfer from there to your Thai account?

Wasn't talking about ATM withdrawal. With wise you can store money in any currency and use the card to pay in the local currency wherever it's acceptable. So instead of carrying coins and notes I can pay with the card at in Baht without any fees

That's right. And from my comparison, wise is giving you the highest exchange rate and guarantee you that you can lock it on a higher rate if you wish. The only fees they charge are a percentage on the transfer. But even then the bottom line is what you ACTUALLY transfer in order to land the amount of Bahts in your Thai account. And for the 0B transfer they were definitely the best by far! AU$210 for the whole amount. Nothing else

No problem with me. Already opened an account and it allows me to use up to 20 different currencies, which means wherever I go I just top up my debit card with the local currency and use it instead of cash! Only cost me $10 for the card. No hidden fees. Looks great so far
