I know it's annoying but when you're in a foreign country you have to accept it as you're basically their guest. I'm sure if you went to a 'western' dentist in Thailand you'd be charged way more just for examination. It's a give and take. You can take it as it is or leave it

Chris Nadon Well look at it from Thai government prospective. Why wouldn't they let people stay 180 days if they spend money while their there and do NOT take local employments opportunities? It's actually pretty smart from their end. Making money from the visas AND the income from people staying in Thailnd! Win win. As long as they got enough condos to accommodate everyone 😂
