Yeah, I definitely recommend making the entire 'payment transfer' journey really easy for them to follow, from the export from Preply to Paypal (or whatever platform you use), and Paypal to my bank. I actually got zero questions throughout the whole process from application to going through immigration. I did file my taxes in Canada in case they wanted to see T4s but was never asked for it. No questions about previous work history but I have over a year of teaching history/ data from Preply

I never got an interview request so I can't speak from experience but logically, you would have to go to the embassy that you applied through for the interview. I just kept it simple by applying to the HCMC embassy and staying in HCMC until the process was complete/I got my Visa.

Yup, that's exactly what I've seen too. You definitely have to do the research on this- Based on comments in this group, I was confident that my financial documents would be sufficient for HCMC and fortunately they were.

good to know! I was actually thinking of going to DaNang (opportunity for beach time) and applying online to either embassy. But yeah, I suppose being prepared to go in for an interview is a good reason to be in the city where you're applying
