You need a re-entry permit for every entry. At this point it's probably best to spend 3800-4000 for the multiple re-entry.

visa extension is 1900, re-entry is 1000 and at the airport it's + 100 if you don't have the required documents. So if you do it at the airport and don't have the documents required it's 1100

yes, it expires after a couple of days from purchase. You can pay extra for it to last longer though.

Best to call your airline and ask them. Regardless if it really comes down to needing it. Just book an onwards flight tickets online. Will cost you about $15. It's a legitimate ticket that you're reserving for a couple of days, if searched by anyone it will show in the system you have a ticket.

we had them but it was scrapped in 2011 and all National ID cards became invalid from 1st January 2013 onwards.

Without telling us what visa you have we can't really give you the proper information but based on what you have said I would guess you obtained METV (Multiple Entry Tourist Visa). This visa is valid for 6 months and allows you to enter Thailand multiple times during that 6 months, each time you enter you will be given an entry stamp which is valid for only 60 days, this however can be extended for another 30 days. Once your allotted time has expired, you will need to leave and re-enter Thailand. If it is indeed a METV. When done correctly you can get nearly 9 months of stay with an METV.

you can swap the physical sim but you can only use physical sim cards that are from the carrier. However you can pay about 30-40$ to unlock the phone so it's open to all sim cards.

file it online if you're able to, if not, go book yourself into a hotel/hostel for hours and ask them to file and print your TM.30 then go extend your visa while you're staying at the hotel.

I leave the country regularly and forget most of the time upon returning to do my TM.30 and ive never had an issue in any of the provinces I've lived submitting a late TM.30, my recent one I left it for 3 months and only submitted it on monday just gone without issue...

it's very true. Even going to BOI route you cannot own land without owning a business with a legitimate need for that land and if you own a business that has legitimate need for land you are still heavily restricted on what you can and can't do with said land and the land is not registered to you, it is registered under your business, you can also lose the rights to that land for breaking any one of the conditions or restrictions.
