What is the TM7 form and how can I obtain one for my visa extension in Thailand?

Hello, I’m going to immigration tomorrow for a 30 day extension, I have all the required documentation except the TM7. What is this and where do I get one?

The TM7 form is the application used for extending temporary stays in Thailand. It can be obtained at immigration offices or at the information desk upon arrival. When applying for a 30-day extension, make sure to also have your passport, a passport-sized photo, copies of your last entry stamp and the main page of your passport, and the TM30 form from your place of stay. Additional forms such as STM.2 and an acknowledgment of penalties may also be required, which can be collected from the local immigration office.

Today I went to immigration at Central Festival. I couldn’t get there early in the morning so joined the queue after their lunch break at 13:00 and was out by 14:15. Process was very quick and slick.

TM7 is the actual application for an extension of stay. You can probably fill it out at the immigration office

This is everything I needed to do the extension at Hua Hin - as mentioned , the TM7 form is available at immigration

You will also need a STM.2 and a acknowledgement of penalties along with the TM.7, you can get these 3 documents from your local Immigration office.

You can get the form at the office, next to the main desktop. Don't forget to bring a copy of your last entry stamp in your passport, a copy of the passport's main page, the TM30 from your place of stay, a passport-size photo, and arrive with enough time to complete the form correctly.  If you do not have these items, you cannot get the Q number to begin the process.
