Andreas Mueller blocked me because he couldn't prove his opinion. If he could have proved his opinion I would have appreciated his input, but behaving as he has says everything. The whole point here is to help others.

People should be careful with advice based on opinions or how they wish something would be as they can make a lot of problems for a lot of people.

Then where's your proof? Put up or shut up.

Obviously you have no proof.

Opinions are worthless...

We can judge your intelligence by the accuracy of your posts.

Hint: opinions are not facts.

And yeah, obviously English is NOT your first language.

I said AFTER his METV is finished he can use visa exempt to get through the rest of this year. Is English not your first language? Sprechen Sie Deutsch besser? Drink a coffee sleepy head...

If you have 7 & a half months remaining on it you should be ok until the end of November. You are allowed 2 land border crossings per calendar year, so best would be to go to a neighboring country for at least a couple of days then cross back in by land avoiding Aranyaprathet or Dannok crossings. That would see you right until end of January next year if you extend the 30 day visa exempt stamp once in Thailand. You'd then need to figure how to get through the remaining 11 months of next year. You'd get 4 months from doing 2 30 day visa exempt land entries, & the other 7 months could be from getting 2 tourist visas in the region plus spending a few days out for each visa run to eat up the extra month. As others have pointed out though, after maybe a year or two of doing it like this it becomes more & more challenging & the chances of getting pulled up by a picky immigration officer & denied entry increase at particular border crossings. You have to really know your border crossings, & policies change at them fairly often too. You have to also know your consulates well to get further tourist visas, or other visa types, & policies at those can change with no warning too. It's not easy.

Would be terrible for Australia, but the country is pretty much lost at this point anyway.
