I am a Thai, working and residing in The USA. Single mother of two; one is a nurse persuading her master degree, engaged to a scientist at Cornell University. The younger one is a UF grade and having a blast time with her life.
I have three houses; all paid for and it’s mine not my family’s. Along other properties.
I only married one and that’s the rush but it’s from the ex’s side not mine.
There are millions of Thai ladies, no one story fits all whatsoever!!!!
Where’s the location? I’m working and residing in The States and have rescued pets back home in Thailand. I’ve hired pet caretakers. They are living in my home; no rent just pay for utilities. I paid salary and since there’s not time consumed the husband is working full time and the wife taking on a side job now and then.
USA driver license is sufficient to get a Thai driver license, no need of international one. Took my US’s to the Land transportation department and got my 10 years Thai’s . No written just a 45 mins video watching and eyesight test.
Local health insurance companies are offering coverage, AXA global health care for example.
Rental; even you were not mentioned but referred to other’s comments. Most if not all renters are offering any length of time rentals. Daily, weekly, monthly and annually. Serviced apartments are also good choices when it comes to renting and there are all over BKK, at very convenient locations too.
I’m a Thai-American, live and work here in The States and traveling back to Thailand frequently, serviced apartments are my choices.
