I really do hope you’re right. Every time I google I get conflicting replies and rhere’s never a date when that info was released.

No replies to my many emails and cannot get through to the embassy in London by phone. Useless! We go to Hua Hin twice a year for 90 days at a time so I think my best option is to apply for a Retirement Visa as I have done so in the past.

I’m confused! The info I obtained was from the latest updates on the Thai Embassy in London website. I’m going to try sending them an email.

Nationals of the United Kingdom and over 40 other countries are eligible to travel to Thailand, for tourism purpose, with the exemption of visa and are permitted to stay in Thailand for a period of not exceeding 30 days. Therefore, you do not need a visa.

Check the Thailand Visa Free Stay Period. It definitely says the 60 day stay without a visa has been reduced to 30 days.

Surely this has now changed and UK/Irish citizens can now only enter Thailand for 30 days without a visa?
