where was this? Are you married to Thai as that seemed to matter

I’ve spent two days trying on a Non O for retirement. SCB said no. After three other branches finally got a Kasikorn branch to make an application. It got turned down on the system. Seems it’s getting g near impossible to open an account even if you go the legal route

yup got that. Makes no difference though. As I’ve presented visa and all required documents to them. They want yellow house book!!

tried. The only one they needed was Yellow tabien baan. Everything else was good!!!

This is my experience today. Visited three branches in Phetchabun. 2 SCB and 1 Kasikorn. Rejected all three times. I had certificate of residency from immigration. Copy of AIS mobile utility bill. Non o visa for retirement. And appropriate documents.

Reason for refusal.

They insisted I needed ethier a yellow house book or be married to a Thai national.

I’ll try more tomorrow before I use an agent. Ridiculous state of affairs. Even the immigration officer wished me luck!!!

U.K. three branches today. Despite giving them certificate of residency from immigration they wanted either Tabien Baan yellow or being married to Thai national
