I've been harassed & booted out of Thailand once . Happened just before the new visa rules came into effect. Reasons I was detained ( unlawfully if you ask me ) I done two land border runs & flew back to thailand short break from Malaysia. I turned 50 around the same time & my intentions was to get retirement visa but Don muang said I'm doin what the Chinese do 🤔....really? I'm not part of any gang . I'm not running any kind of business in Thailand. Neither breaking any laws .... So after being detained over night I travelled indonesia. I needed new passport due to pages ran out ( immigration Don muang stamped not to be allowed back in Thailand 😂) Flew back to thailand. Talked my way past immigration & did precisely what I should of done sooner got my retirement visa ...3 days before the new visa rules changed .... immigration can be Assoles ( & yes corrupt ) ... so don't be surprised if immigration & customs 🛃 grill u ...just know your rights

By air you should be fine....the Covid nonsense that changed the visa regs has been put to bed . By air unlimited . Don't let the minions tell u any different
