Congratulations! I don’t know why but I see several posts that first 90 day report should be in-person. However, since the time online reporting system was introduced, regardless of first/subsequent report, I have never done it in-person except on an occasional when system was down for several weeks. Though, this will be my first time on DTV so keeping my fingers crossed

Tool me exact one week from fee payment to personal interview and approval. That was November but now it might be delayed because of holiday season

I applied soft power in Vientiane and showed only sufficient bank balance to support me for next 5 years.

I declared that I am taking a break / early retirement. They were fine with it and approved.

It happened with me too. Despite having more than required funds they issued ED visa for my soft power Muay Thai DTV application at Delhi embassy.

After a month I applied again in Vientiane with same documents and DTV got approved.

I had very good experience at Vientiane, Laos. Exact 5 working days from date of fee payment, which includes in-person interview
