But that printed copy came from an email, right? It means you can open that mail from any computer anywhere and print out a new TDAC when needed. You sound like a clueless not so tech savvy conspiracy theorist. You think bank apps and smart phones are dangerous and you're giving people advice here? Come on, it's not 2005 anymore.
You're basically a tourist then? You do know that you can transfer money from back home to your Thai bank account and only use a Thai ATM-card? That's imo even better.
Many commercial banks back home doesn't have that option and I'm living in Thailand long term, meaning using a foreign card is pure stupidity, but that's up your alley.
Having access to money in a US bank is one thing, but it doesn't mean you shouldn't have a Thai bank account with a debit/atm-card.I bet you can't find one (sane) expat living in Thailand long term without a Thai bank account. If there is, I would like to see what he/she looks like. 😂
Did you do that while staying in Thailand non-stop for 5 years? If yes, a not so very smart move compared to having a Thai bank account with a debit card/ATM-card.
You're looking for peacefulness on an island connected to the mainland via a bridge and with a population of about 416,000 and visited by about 8.7million tourists (2024)? Really? Stay as far as you can from spots like Patong if a piecefull life is important. 😎
