Go for a simple bank to bank transfer for the 800k. Then it will show up as an international transfer. That's important.

The maximum amount at Krungthai Bank is only 50k per transfer via Wise.

You do realize where you're staying? Even new rules are handled different when it comes to branches in other provinces.Krungthai Bank isn't actually the best choice when it comes to sending money from abroad using for example Wise.

Well,at my immigration office it works with a 12 months bank statement from a Thai bank if you planned ahead before the first 1 year extension.

At my immigration office it works perfectly well with a 12 months bank statement from your bank if you were smart and planned ahead before the first 1 year extension. But this is only for citizens from the US,UK, Australia and now also Canada.

I've been with Bangkok Bank many years,and that's where I keep a large part of my money (incl money for immigration).I will never change that. Don't listen to people complaining about this and that.They are very often rookies.I'm with KBank as well,but for daily expenses and bills and stuff.

I haven't got a clue. It's not an official thing for sure.

A funny thing happened to me at my Bangkok Bank branch in March. I extended my Fixed Deposit Account but they changed the rules in February. They wanted to see the passport of course but they asked for a second ID. I asked if an official digital ID from my bank back home would suffice,and they said yes.I never expected that. 😎

@Pete ******
That looks like earlier requirements at Bangkok Bank.

You can use the monthly deposit method even for the first 1 year extension if you were smart and planned ahead, and have 12 65k (or more) deposits and got the 12 months bank statement from your bank.
