 When sending large amounts the fee is actually lower compared to small amounts. It's not linear if you understand what I mean. Again,just compare fees.

 There are no taxes in Thailand on income from pension from abroad and most likely never will be.

Imo, in most immigration offices,joint accounts are not accepted. There are of course exceptions.
