not in every province. Surely you can get a drivers license with the help of agents in Pattaya on ANY visa, even on a visa-exempt entry, really easy within two days

@Cris *****
you need 500,000 THB equivalent in any bank account in your sole name in any place of the World, proven with 3 months statements, when you apply for the DTV.But you can't get a bank account opened in Thailand on a DTV

this would at many Immigration offices mean that you have to prove again that you are elegible, with all the previous paperwork and the 500,000 THB in your bank account for the recent 3 months. It is better to do a border run instead

🤣 in this case Jomtien Immigration won't need anything else, because they can clearly see the TM30 on their computer. You don't have to bring them anything if the hotel has done what they are supposed to do

I know, you are again picking raisins from the cake. It is self understood that a 90-days report can be made on any Immigration anywhere in Thailand where you are actually residing at a given point. It is not connected to the stay permit or the visa. Somebody who travels through Thailand and lives in hotels or guesthouses will have to talk to the managers in order to take at least a screenshot of their TM30, before doing the report.

Steve Kelly Photos . . . after you got your 1-year Extension issued, you are of course free to move within Thailand. You must however always report your new accomodation in the TM30 system, i.e. the landlord, hotel, homeowner or guesthouse will have to register you in the premises by the TM30 within 24 hours of your arrival. A 90-days report can be made on ANY Immigration inside Thailand, it is NOT connected to a visa or to the stay permit

she won't be able to enter France in the first place - without a Schengen Visa

the same happened to me on the DLT, too. Fortunately, my girlfriend was present with her blue housebook and her ID card. She confirmed that I still lived on her premises as noted in the yellow housebook. After this, DLT accepted my yellow book

Which makes me wonder - if you have a yellow housebook, you won't need a certificate of residence from Immigration, because the yellow housbook is actually the equivalent replacement for the certificate of residence. My Immigration won't issue a COR for me, because they know I have the yellow housebook
