TLDR : Answer Summary
When bringing a Thai girlfriend to England for a holiday, opinions vary on whether to use a travel agent or handle the application independently. Some users suggest that it is indeed manageable to apply yourself by following the guidance provided on the UK government website, while others mention their experiences of using agents for convenience. Key steps include securing a visa application through VFS Global, providing supporting documents like a letter of support, and demonstrating evidence of a genuine relationship, such as photographs together.
Just get her to go British embassy get visa fill out form and you can write letter saying that you are going to support her in England embassy will tell her what you need to prepare

This year April i had to write letter showing 6 Months wages proving i can support her take pic of house utility bill my partner works government hospital as nurse so don't know if this was reason why

That would be pointless since the British embassy don’t handle visa processing. All done through VFS Global.
Embassy has nothing to do with visa. My girlfriend came here last month. Have to go through vfs global. Need to apply through there. Need fingerprints and photo taken as well. Takes between 1 and 5 weeks to get an answer. Took us 2 weeks. Have to show proof of relationship. Lots of chat history. Lots of pictures together. Need to show 6 month bamk statements from both sides. Need to prove you have a house. Plus a few other things.
I am actually on holiday in England now ( 2nd year of doing it) with my Thai gf. I did it myself following the requirements on the uk gov website. If you use an agent you still have to provide them with all the info required and go to the agency in Bkk or Chiang Mai for your gfs biometrics.
My advice have a go yourself and save money. Unless money is no object of course.
