I hear you. It sounds however that his intention was not to leave and stay out. It was to leave and come back in as a visa run. If Immigration just let him go into Laos and then he wanted to come back in and was denied he would have been outraged. Especially if all his stuff was still in Thailand.

If he just wanted to leave through this immigration point and not come back in and was denied, I’m fully with you. Let him out and enough his next travels.

You also need the form to file the request which is a TM15. Immigration has that form

so let him leave and then deny him back in. Then he would have really been up a creek with a paddle. The immigration officer kept him from leaving because he knew he wouldn’t be let back in.

spot on! I’ve had years of sciatica and was able to manage it for years by my doctor recommending anti inflammatories. In my case I took Motrin and was told to take 800mg 3x per day. That’s a total of 2400mg a day which is the upper limit allowed daily. I was told drink lots of water as it’s hard on kidneys and only 1 week. Then a week off and repeat until inflammation goes down and you feel better.

I did this for years until they finally had to do artificial discs.

Be sure to see a doctor first as anti inflammatory medicine may not be good for you if you have other health problems.

Craig is also right about finding the underlying issue causing the inflammation and definitely hits the issue with core stretching.

Good luck

actually I was just in my Koh Samui branch and they no longer provide a 12 month statement. They will only do 6 months.

They indicated that you now go to your BKK App and request it from there and it will be emailed to you. I did it and it was sent in a few days to my email.

So no issues, just a change in how you get it. They still update your bank book and give you the certified bank letter.

Not sure how other provinces do it but immigration on Koh Samui you must come in 30-45 days before expiration to get an appointment scheduled.

So here don’t do the bank doc until the day of your appointment. Bangkok Bank has you use the app to get your 12 month transactions which could take 2-3 days to your email.

Then medical do 3 days before your appointment.

They are moving to an online extension process sometime this year. They posted the notice last week. Hopefully that we’ll make it like 90 day online reports.
