no , i don’t loose USD400. They collect $ only after application is successful. Btw Myanmar consulate is still in walk in application

I currently stay in Myanmar and I just need to provide residency cert (Myanmar location) .

in Myanmar Embassy, they collect $400 only after your application is successful. No need to pay if it get rejected.

Why are USD old bills not accepted in Myanmar and how can I manage to get cash?

You shouldn’t use ATM in Myanmar because the rate is too low. Better to go to the exchange counter . Also some exchange counter facilities to change old note with blue note by a few penny
