Will I be charged customs tax if I ship personal items to Thailand with a non-immigrant retirement O visa?

Not only that you will have to pay tax, Custom will also set the value on the Items, and you will have to pay for storage of the container as long as it is in Custom area!!! 25 % tax on value. I even got a bill after container was received at home for additional storage fee.
